The short version
- You earn 30% of what each creator you refer pays for ugcbios Pro, for the life of their subscription.
- Commissions are held for 30 days, then paid monthly by PayPal or Wise once your balance is $25 or more.
- No self-referrals, no paid search ads on the ugcbios name, no spam.
- Tell people it is an affiliate link whenever you share it.
These terms are between you and UGC Bio Labs, Inc. (“we”), which runs ugcbios.com. They sit alongside our terms of service and privacy policy. By joining the affiliate program you agree to them.
What you earn
- 30% recurring. For every monthly or yearly Pro payment a referred creator makes, you earn 30% of the amount they actually paid, after any discount, coupon or account credit. You keep earning on every renewal for as long as that subscription lasts.
- One-time purchases. If we offer a one-time plan such as Lifetime Pro, a referred creator’s purchase earns 30% once.
- Commissions are in US dollars. Taxes on what you earn are yours to handle where you live.
- Free plans, free trials and free months earn nothing, because nothing was paid.
How a referral is credited
- Your affiliate link sets a first-party cookie for 60 days. A creator is credited to you if they sign up, or upgrade, within 60 days of clicking it.
- If they click several affiliate links, the last one clicked before they sign up or first pay gets the credit.
- Once a referred creator has made a payment, they are yours for the life of that subscription. Nobody else’s link can take them over.
- Creators who were already paying for Pro before they clicked your link are not referrals.
- Cookies can be blocked or cleared. If a creator signs up in a way we can’t connect to your link, we can’t credit it, and our records decide.
Hold, refunds and chargebacks
- Every commission waits 30 days after the payment before it becomes payable.
- If a payment is refunded, fully or in part, the commission on the refunded amount is reversed. If a payment is charged back, the commission on it is reversed; if we win the dispute, it comes back.
- A reversal on money already paid out to you comes off your next payout.
Payouts
- We pay once a month, by PayPal or Wise, to the email address you give us on your affiliate dashboard.
- We pay your payable balance when it is $25 or more. Below that, it rolls over to the next month.
- Keep your payout email and country correct. We can’t recover money sent to an address you gave us. Any fee your payment provider charges you on receipt is yours.
How you may promote ugcbios
- No self-referral. You can’t earn on your own account, a second account of yours, or accounts you control for someone else.
- No paid search on our name. Don’t bid on “ugcbios” or close misspellings in Google, Bing or any other search ads, and don’t run ads that look like they come from us.
- No spam. No unsolicited bulk email or DMs, no comment spam, no buying traffic from pop-ups or incentivised clicks.
- Be accurate. Describe ugcbios truthfully. Don’t promise features, results, discounts or earnings we don’t offer, and don’t say you speak for us.
- Coupon sites and cashback sites need our written OK first.
Disclosing the relationship
The US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides, and similar rules in other countries, require you to tell your audience when you earn money from a recommendation. Whenever you share your link or recommend ugcbios, say clearly that you earn a commission, close to the link and in words people will notice, for example “affiliate link: I earn a commission if you upgrade”. A disclosure only on a separate page or behind “more” is not enough. In videos, say it out loud as well as in the caption.
Changes and ending
- We can change these terms or the commission rate with 30 days’ notice by email. Commissions already earned stay at the rate they were earned at.
- You can leave at any time by emailing us. We pay any payable balance of $25 or more in the next monthly run.
- If you break these terms (self-referral, fraud, spam, brand bidding or missing disclosures), we can pause or close your affiliate account and withhold commissions that came from the breach.
